Test your skills at the Mopar Showdown 3S Challenge! Whether you're a pro or a first-timer, this is your chance to put your Mopar to the test.
Join us on Saturday, September 27 for a 3S Challenge sponsored by Fast Freddies Rod Shop. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded.
Two classes:
1980 and older
1981 and newer
Register before September 23. $25 per entry, open to all registered show cars or drag cars. Only 40 entries are available. Each entry gets 3-4 course runs (anticipated). Make sure you bring a helmet. Rock Falls Raceway has some helmets available to rent if need be.
The winners of each class will receive $500 cash plus a trophy!
What is the 3S Challenge?
Drivers will line up at the drag strip’s starting line and launch hard toward the first cones ~150 feet from the start line. From there, they’ll weave through the slalom, then hit the throttle again for a final burst of speed before stopping precisely at the cone stop box. The driver who completes the course the fastest — without missing or hitting a cone — takes the win and the cash prize!
All drivers must present a valid driver's license at event check-in. Minor drivers must be able to show that they have permission to operate the automobile and a parent or guardian must be present at check-in.
All drivers must use a helmet Snell 2010 or later. Chippewa Valley Sports Car Club has helmets available if you do not have one.
All drivers must sign the K&K Insurance Approved RELEASE & WAIVER OF LIABILITY ASSUMPTION OF RISK & INDEMNITY AGREEMENT at the gate.
